Our 8 step construction process is stringently adhered to and only complete when the 4 layer shell is fully cured within a temperature and humidity controlled oven, thus ensuring beauty is more than just skin deep on all Arcadia Spas.
A quality spa must have a quality shell. To ensure this we always use 4 layer Thermabond shells.
A top layer of attractive acrylic is strengthened with a layer of pure vinyl ester resin for adhesion and waterproofing. Torsional strength is then maximised with a marine grade polyester resin, and finally, polyceramic reinforced resin gives absolute rigidity and unequalled strength to the shell.
All our cabinets are made from Thermoclad. This material is a UV resistant polymer that's made entirely from recycled plastics and timber by-products.
Thermoclad is extremely durable, it's production has minimal impact on the environment and as a synthetic material it is impervious to mould and mildew (unlike timber). It looks good, is maintenance free and due to its superior insulation properties you will also save on operating costs.
