What's in a Spa?

Sitting in hot water is 90% of a spa's value, so why pay more for extras?

A spa experience can be so many things but at it's essence you're just sitting in hot water so what do you need to know when you're thinking about buying a spa?

Increasing the body temperature by just 1 degree releases a natural chemical called endorphins which takes the body from a contracted state to a relaxed state. The blood then flow and the muscles ad bones repair themselves. A spa that maintains temperature efficiently keeps the water at the ideal temperature year-round, just take off the cover and get in.

Spa pools are therapeutic - jets massage away the aches and pains, and the warmth and water movement help to lower blood pressure, relieve fatigue and speed up tissue repair and pain relief. Deciding on the right configuration of jets in your spa is one of the most important decisions, it can be the difference between a bubbly spa pool or a hydrotherapy experience. Jets can be at the bottom of the spa to massage your feet, or up higher to massage your back. The jets are positioned to target specific muscles and are interchangeable to tailor the massage required.

Injury usage - the buoyancy of the water pits less stress on the muscles because they support less weight and by moving and exercising the affected joints while in the water, pain is often reduced. make sure your spa will have enough room for you to stretch and sit comfortably. Think about how many people will be regularly in the spa and get a multi-seat spa pool big enough to accomodate them.

Relaxation - sitting in a spa is such a relaxing thing to do at the end of the day, and it's a great social time to catch up with friends , or a romantic time with partners. There's no TV to interrupt you, just some nice quiet relaxing time. The mood can be enhanced by jets and lights check out the options before you buy.
